Pam Miller Downtown Arts Center

Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government | Lexington, KY
The Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government (LFUCG) hired THJA for the complete renovation of three early 20th-century Main Street commercial properties into a community cultural arts facility, located in the heart of downtown Lexington. The buildings continue to foster and incubate new business opportunities including relocation of celebrated “home-grown” Alfalfa Restaurant.

The facility has provided a major gathering spot in the center of downtown Lexington for public and private events, with the first and second floor lobbies offering display, fund-raising, and refreshment space for various organizations. Besides the performing venues, the facility also accommodates public and private gallery spaces which have been the focus of many activities during the Gallery Hop weekends.

Most recently, Tate Hill Jacobs conducted a feasibility study for LFUCG in consideration of locating the Lexington History Museum on the third floor.
