Sabrina Oaks, Principal, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP
Ms. Oaks became Principal at Tate Hill Jacobs Architects in early 2016 after serving as a senior associate. She has extensive experience with large-scale food and beverage and industrial design projects, as well as fast track design/build and educational projects. Since joining Tate Hill Jacobs, Sabrina has enjoyed building collaborative relationships with Fayette County Public Schools, Berea Independent Schools, Morehead State University, Big Ass Solutions, and others.
As a first generation college graduate, Ms. Oaks credits her architectural success to the influence and support of her parents. Her father, a plumber, patiently deciphered home building plans and fielded an array of pestering questions from his young daughter. Sabrina’s mother bought her sketchbooks and helped her travel to France in high school to develop her skills as a mural painter. Her grandmother also interceded in her artistic pursuits, bathing a six-year-old Sabrina in lead-based gasoline after she decided to paint her playhouse with oil-based enamel using paper towels.
Happily for Tate Hill Jacobs, Sabrina survived, and now provides enthusiastic leadership for a diverse range of projects for valued clients across Kentucky and in surrounding states.
