THJA completed the renovation of the 1904 center city YMCA to become ArtsPlace, a community arts center, housing an office and rehearsal spaces for philharmonic, ballet, and modern dance. A performance Hall, Gallery, and Community Conference Room also were included. The project encompassed renovation of all exterior and interior finish materials, mechanical and electrical systems, plus upgrading for compliance with Life Safety and Handicapped Accessibility codes.
