Jessamine County Schools | Nicholasville, KY
East Jessamine Middle School was renovated to become a facility for 920 three, four, and five-year-old children. This challenging design effort required straightening of the existing octagonal shaped corridor system. The design process was tailored to educate, empower, and integrate a core group of nine educators from the award-winning early childhood staff into all phases of the process. Interior finishes and painted murals were carefully selected and placed to create a lively, inviting atmosphere where colors are used for wayfinding and operational purposes.
