This new school was designed to accommodate a combined K-12 student population of 500. The School Board wanted to participate in all design decisions, so over a six-month period, THJA led them through more than 20 design meetings to ensure all members had a voice and ownership in the building design. The superintendent at that time selected a chill beam HVAC system, making Robertson County home to the first fully commissioned, fully functioning chilled beam system of its kind in Kentucky. Construction for this new school was completed six weeks ahead of schedule.
